New kid on the block: CedarDB

The most interesting thing in data: Umbra which took the leader’s top spot (faster query performance than DuckDB, ClickHouse, Doris / StarRocks, Trino, Snowflake) on Clickbench (a flat table OLAP benchmark at https://benchmark.clickhouse.com/) just launched their public offering called CedarDB. I don’t know all the details yet (other than a wealth of academic papers they’ve cited), but they look very promising.
